Network Design & Activation Engineer / Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Network Design & Activation Engineer / Specialist to be responsible for the end-to-end design, activation, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise network services. This role ensures the seamless implementation of routing, switching, SD-WAN technologies, and wireless solutions for customer projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents based on customer requirements.
• Implement, configure, and troubleshoot Routing, Switching, and SD-WAN solutions including Cisco Viptela, Meraki, and VMware Velocloud.
• Create detailed low-level network diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
• Configure and manage Cisco and Juniper devices across LAN and WAN environments.
• Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols, Layer 2 technologies, IP/MPLS, Ethernet, and IP services.
• Support design, activation, migration, and issue resolution for enterprise network projects.
• Provide expertise in WLAN technologies and 802.11 security architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful service activation and delivery.

Requirements

• 6 - 8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network design, activation, implementation, and migration roles.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Routing/Switching and SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, VMware Velocloud).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper networking products.
• Strong understanding of IP/MPLS, Ethernet, and enterprise network architecture.
• Proficiency in protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, Trunks, Port-Channel.
• Experience with IP services: IPv4/IPv6, VPN, Multicast, QoS, SNMP with good knowledge on MPLS, VRF, SIP, and traffic shaping techniques.
• Exposure to wireless LAN technologies and security standards (802.11).
• Ability to work on design, implementation, and troubleshooting projects independently.
