Power BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with strong experience in building both operational reports and interactive dashboards. The ideal candidate should be able to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions and demonstrate hands-on expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models for business and leadership users.
• Work with data from a Snowflake semantic layer, ensuring consistent and accurate metrics.
• Apply best practices for modeling, performance optimization, and governance.
• Build intuitive, visually effective, and scalable reporting solutions.
• Support financial reporting and analytics needs across the organization.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and semantic modeling.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, especially Snowflake.
• Ability to create both detailed tabular reports and KPI-driven dashboards.
• Understanding of BI governance, usability, and performance tuning.
• Background in financial reporting, as many of the reporting needs involve metrics, trends, and analysis that support business and operational decision-making.
• Experience with insurance data (policy, claims, premiums, etc.).
