DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with proven experience in infrastructure and platform engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud infrastructure management, along with strong networking fundamentals and scripting abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and operate workloads in a shared or managed Kubernetes cluster environment.
• Containerize applications by writing Docker files, managing images, publishing to a registry, and debugging container-level issues.
• Utilize strong networking fundamentals including DNS, TLS/SSL certificates, firewall rules, load balancing, VPNs, and service-to-service connectivity.
• Contribute to architectural decisions in evolving environments and execute once direction is set.
• Provision, harden, and manage RHEL (or equivalent enterprise Linux) systems, including package management and systemd services.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, ideally in an enterprise private/hybrid cloud environment.
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Develop and maintain scripts in Bash and at least one higher-level language (Python preferred).
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Diagnose incidents effectively, working from vague symptoms to root cause using logs, metrics, and reasoning.
• Work with AI-generated or AI-assisted codebases, extending and debugging solutions.
• Communicate complex infrastructure concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong networking fundamentals.
• Experience with RHEL or equivalent enterprise Linux.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tooling.
• Solid scripting ability in Bash and Python.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling.
• Strong incident diagnosis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
