Cypress Automation Tester/Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cypress Automation Tester/Expert with experience in automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cypress, JavaScript, and TypeScript, as well as experience with UI and API automation. This is a contract position based in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for both UI and API testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery by implementing test automation frameworks.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Utilize Docker for running Cypress in containers.
• Understand and work with HTML, CSS, and DOM structures to enhance test coverage.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field.
• 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in automation testing.
• Mandatory skills: Cypress, JavaScript, TypeScript, UI & API Automation, CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins), Test automation frameworks, Git, HTML, CSS, DOM understanding.
• Good to have skills: Playwright, API testing tools (Postman), Docker.
