EDI Developer

We are seeking an experienced EDI Developer with a strong background in EDI trading partner management and a proven track record in IT. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in EDI, particularly in a distribution model, and will be responsible for transaction setup and support. This is a contract position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage EDI trading partner relationships, ensuring effective transaction setup and support.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of X12 EDI specifications and tools such as Sterling Integrator and Axway/B2Bi.
• Set up communications protocols (SFTP/AS2) for EDI transactions.
• Troubleshoot SAP orders and invoices as needed.
• Lead large teams in support projects across different time zones, ensuring effective communication.
• Configure directory objects for new partners, including receiver and interface determination.
• Utilize business acumen and communication skills to collaborate with various levels of management.
• Effectively manage time and coordinate multiple project requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years in EDI trading partner management.
• Strong knowledge of X12 EDI specifications, Sterling Integrator, and Axway/B2Bi.
• Familiarity with communications setup (SFTP/AS2) and SAP basics.
• Experience with EDI transactions in Healthcare Supply & Distribution, Financial, Transportation, and Supply Chain.
• Excellent business acumen and communication skills.
• Effective time management and project coordination abilities.
